Basic Telecommunicator, Emergency Medical Dispatch and CPR Course Announcement The Ocean County Sheriff’s Office is holding a Public Safety Telecommunicator Course. The Basic Telecommunicator, CPR, and Emergency Medical Dispatch course will start on February 4th, 2023 and end on March 19th, 2023. If successfully completed, these classes provide one with the certifications needed to apply for a 911 Pubic Safety Telecommunicator/Dispatcher. The cost of the course will be $125. Seating is limited to the first 30 students. The closing date for registering is February 2nd, 2023. Anyone offered employment by the county to work at the 911 center may apply to be reimbursed this course fee. Click the link below to download the application.
